Chains

The making of these hand-made woven chains has been dated back as far as 4000 BC by the Metropolitan Museum. I start with a pure gold bar, which is melted down and then alloyed with a little silver and a little copper to bring the pure gold down to 22k gold. The gold is then pulled through a draw plate until it is the right size wire for the weaving. At present I offer them in three different sizes, all in quadruple link, which means these chains are very tightly woven, not hollow. The gages from large to small are 22g, 24g, and 26g

My chains are a main part of my designs, my clients will often collect several different pendants, from something they can wear every day to a very formal piece for special occasions.
