My trip to Tucson, what can I say.... FANTASTIC... I not only get to see endless beautiful stones, but I get to see old friends that I only see once a year.

The endless isles of amazing stones, beads and pearls is always awe inspiring, and as always, I had great fun looking for those one-of-a-kind special items.

Some of you may have recieved e-mail from me while I was there, this often happens when I am looking for something in particular for one of you. This year I also had fun in that I found a few items that I loved and that I thought would go well with my own work. This is the first time I have offered anything that was not from my own collections. I will continue to do this from time to time if I see something that I like, and that I can offer to you for less then what you would pay in a retail situation.

TRENDS: What I saw was without a doubt a bigger then ever trend towards Tahitian Black Pearls. For the first time this year, all the pearls dealers were also stocked with Australian South Sea Pearls, whites and golds. A big trend that you won't see for about a year and a half, but it's on it's way.

The good news is, that I have some of the best sources for Tahitians and South Seas, so my prices are unbeatable.

Turquoise and Coral still going strong, and will be for quite some time, especially this summer.

There is also a big trend going back to carved moonstone faces, which makes me happy, because it's one of my original signature items. I feel they are comforting in a way, because they are hand-carved, each face has it's own personality, and therefore speaks to your inner self.

Below are the necklaces I sold through e-mail, before I even left Tucson, I still have a few left, e-mail for info.... sorry the photo isn't better.

These next photos are of bracelets from a dealer in Italy. The are made from very fine turquoise and coral and onyx. The gold you see is all 18k yellow. These are perfect summer pieces, I have been selling them off of my wrist.

These are on wire that wraps around your wrist.

These are stretch cuffs, the photo does not do them justice. Some have little diamonds if you look close.
